The right to access information is a fundamental human right according to the United Nations but what happens when that information isn’t what it seems? What happens if you want to get a vaccination for example, but videos on TikTok are telling you it will kill you? Or you are being told repeatedly that the politician you want to vote for is corrupt so you should vote for another candidate instead. Those examples are real and happening now in Uganda and throughout the world. And there are many more examples.
